#NoMoreBS

Hydrocephalus is the buildup of fluid in the brain that creates pressure and can be deadly if left untreated. There is currently no cure for hydrocephalus, and the only treatment is brain surgery. Anyone can develop this condition at any age!

The tournament’s inspiration is lively 3-year-old who was diagnosed with hydrocephalus in-utero. She had her first brain surgery at 6 months old and underwent a weeklong monitoring with a probe in her brain last summer.

Since our first annual No B.S. Inshore Tournament in 2023, we have donated $32,000 to hydrocephalus research. This year’s recipients of the funds were the Hydrocephalus Association and the Pediatric Brain Injury and Hydrocephalus Research Laboratory at the Medical University of South Carolina.

This is a No B.S. tournament—we mean business. We hope that one day there will be No Brain Surgery to treat hydrocephalus.
